A beautiful save bye Eagle IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Jimmy Holmgren made a precise shot to the right of Stellan Näver. Eagle IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mikael Låsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Arne Nilsson in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Näver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Malcolm Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Tollereds BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Eliasson couldn't finish the play. Tollereds BK's Malcolm Eliasson managed to work through Eagle IF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Malcolm Eliasson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Michael Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute of the match, Alfred Liljeström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Greger Westerstrand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute, Emil Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Emil Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eagle IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Gustavsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greger Westerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stellan Näver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcolm Eliasson's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Stellan Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Holmgren in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Tollereds BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Liljeström to strike the kick off in the second half. Stellan Näver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Holmgren in the 53rd minute. Emil Gustavsson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Greger Westerstrand. Greger Westerstrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Malcolm Eliasson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stellan Näver, passed just outside the right post. If Malcolm Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stellan Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eagle IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Malcolm Eliasson 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 78 minutes into the game, Alfred Liljeström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Greger Westerstrand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Alfred Liljeström notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Tollereds BK's Greger Westerstrand. Greger Westerstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michael Gernberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greger Westerstrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Gernberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Gustavsson in the 89th minute of play forced Tollereds BK's goalkeeper Greger Westerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Westerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Norberg in the 90th minute of play. Greger Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Norberg in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Alfred Liljeström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Westerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tollereds BK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Eagle IF had won, even though Tollereds BK had held more of the ball.
