With a little luck, Nyhammar IF's Paul Larsfelt got control of the ball when Aleksander Isaksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yngve Gernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Zachrisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Vennerlund during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claes Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Apberget's zone, Markus Zachrisson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Gernberg came out of the goal and Markus Zachrisson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksander Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Larsfelt having to interfere. Egon Uggla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Paul Larsfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Egon Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Larsfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Nordal kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Egon Uggla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Egon Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes FC Apberget got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Eklund. After 39 played minutes, Nyhammar IF's Christian Hurtig shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yngve Gernberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nyhammar IF reached it. When Claes Vennerlund was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. In the 41st minute, Claes Vennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Henrik Wenerdahl came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nyhammar IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Wenerdahl couldn't finish the play. Yngve Gernberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Wenerdahl went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markus Zachrisson made a kick off. Aleksander Isaksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Larsfelt having to make a save. After having played for 64 minutes, Henning Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Apberget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Vollander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yngve Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Zachrisson in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Apberget's Joakim Alrot got a free kick in the 67th minute. Henrik Wenerdahl hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Egon Uggla hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on FC Apberget's corner Sandy Silvestri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paul Larsfelt quite easily take care of the ball. Yngve Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Zachrisson in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Markus Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyhammar IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markus Zachrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Markus Zachrisson rounded FC Apberget's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. The Nyhammar IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
