Stig-Åke Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sonny Hjälm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Åke Kjellqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cska Skokloster's zone, Stig-Åke Kjellqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Hjälm came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Kjellqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny Hjälm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Kjellqvist in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Viktor Berglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cska Skokloster and the Väring FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of Cska Skokloster:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 66 minutes into the game, Greger Elg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sonny Hjälm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Georg Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Åke Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sonny Hjälm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cska Skokloster's Sonny Hjälm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Kjellqvist in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cska Skokloster's zone, Georg Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Hjälm came out of the goal and Georg Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Stig-Åke Kjellqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sonny Hjälm, passed just outside the right post. Väring FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
