Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stig-Åke Kjellqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Georg Strömberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Blomqvist. Gunnesby United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Strömberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig-Åke Kjellqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig-Arne Blomqvist. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 14th minute Stig-Åke Kjellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Väring FF's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Källberg came free, but Bo Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo-Erik Nordlander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bo Beckeman. Väring FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Marko Källberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunnesby United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Källberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Dick Harman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Väring FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Dick Harman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Stig-Arne Blomqvist made a huge save. Stig-Arne Blomqvist was a little too slow when Stig-Åke Kjellqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. Stig-Arne Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Kjellqvist in the 40th minute of the match. If Ingvar Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Beckeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Källberg in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Ingvar Askestät made the kick off in the second half. Marko Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Arne Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Stig-Arne Blomqvist came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Väring FF's Dick Harman. But to his dismay, Dick Harman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Stig-Arne Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Viklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Arne Blomqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from August Viklund went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Stig-Arne Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Stig-Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Viklund in the 70th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Georg Strömberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Väring FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 84 minutes into the match, Georg Strömberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Blomqvist. In the 89th match minute, Gunnesby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Nordlander to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Strömberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Gunnesby United's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Gunnesby United got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Askestät. In the 96th minute, Jan-Olof Ahlrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Väring FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
