Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Bålström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stig-Åke Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Torsten Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sune Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Nordin in the 9th minute of play. Torsten Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Dick Fågel hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Emanuel Bålström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Martinsson charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Martinsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Nordin in the 28th minute of play forced Katrineholms SK's goalkeeper Sune Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lundin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bålström in the 34th minute of play forced Katrineholms SK's goalkeeper Sune Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Bålström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sune Lundin was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. FC Rasovac's Torsten Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mickelsson in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
54 minutes into the game, Viggo Forsell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sune Lundin. Viggo Forsell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Douglas Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Douglas Nordin made a precise shot to the right of Sune Lundin. Katrineholms SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. FC Rasovac's Torsten Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Sjö in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viggo Forsell during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Viggo Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Åke Sjö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Rasovac's Dick Fågel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With an all-out effort, FC Rasovac's Sune Lundin threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Bålström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Allan Trulsson's late challenge caught a FC Rasovac's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Trulsson helped the player get up and apologised. Mattias Örtendahl shot a long shot in the 83rd minute and a light blocked Sune Lundin hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3. Sune Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bålström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Nordin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Sune Lundin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of FC Rasovac booed when Katrineholms SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lundin having to interfere.
