Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karl Jonasson made the kick off and thus started the match. When Vilhelm Flinck came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Överkalix IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Flinck couldn't finish the play. When Ingvar Wallmark fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Överkalix IFK's protests and gave Ingvar Wallmark a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Överkalix IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Stålman to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Göransson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Överkalix IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Stålman in the 13th minute. Kim Björk charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Björk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kvicksund getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kim Björk hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Vilhelm Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Överkalix IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Flinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Kvicksund's Alfons Ekman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Göransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Torbjörn Hedin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Kilman's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Axel Stålman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kvicksund's Torbjörn Hedin. Torbjörn Hedin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kvicksund's Torbjörn Hedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Kilman in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Ekman in the 34th minute of play forced Överkalix IFK's goalkeeper Kurt Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Hedin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rune Kilman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torbjörn Hedin was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Vilhelm Flinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Överkalix IFK's Vilhelm Flinck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torbjörn Hedin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vilhelm Flinck made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Axel Stålman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Överkalix IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvicksund the free kick. A collision led to Överkalix IFK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Axel Stålman hit a great ball. Vilhelm Flinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Överkalix IFK booed when Kvicksund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Skarkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Flinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Torbjörn Hedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Kilman might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torbjörn Hedin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Kilman ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilhelm Flinck took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torbjörn Hedin. Torbjörn Hedin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Axel Stålman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Torbjörn Hedin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överkalix IFK. Sonny Lindblom kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Göransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Kurt Göransson was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Karl Jonasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl Jonasson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Kurt Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. During the 94th minute of the match Kim Björk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kim Björk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 95 played minutes Kvicksund got a freekick which was hit by Kim Björk. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Överkalix IFK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
