Glanshammar IF's Nils-Erik Hellsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Dalberg in the 37th minute of play. Tomas Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nils-Erik Hellsing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Magnus Högman to make the kick off. Hugo Ugla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Högman in the 86th minute of play. Tommy Söderströms short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Nils-Erik Hellsing to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Nils-Erik Hellsing managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Rinkeby FC's Tommy Söderström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Rinkeby FC booed when Glanshammar IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Tommy Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinkeby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rinkeby FC played a much better game than Glanshammar IF and deserved their victory. The Glanshammar IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
