The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Östen Isaksson to make the kick off. Valdemar Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Olsson in the 57th minute of the match. Valdemar Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Håkan Ingemarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Salkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Håkan Ingemarsson lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Olov Salkvist. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
