Olov Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sune Caspersson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Olov Salkvist came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Skansen's Daniel Josefsson. But to his dismay, Daniel Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Björn Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Josefsson in the 15th minute of play forced Carelii FK's goalkeeper Olov Salkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, BK Skansen's Daniel Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olov Salkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niklas Olofsson's late challenge caught a BK Skansen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Olofsson helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carelii FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The referee gave BK Skansen a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by August Mogren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carelii FK's Olov Salkvist. 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Mats Åkerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Skansen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carelii FK the free kick. After 30 played minutes BK Skansen got a freekick which was hit by Mats Åkerberg. 37 minutes into the match, Carelii FK's Björn Olsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Örtlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 played minutes BK Skansen got a freekick which was hit by Anders Ahlroht. BK Skansen's Tobias Örtlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Olsson in the 44th minute of play. If Jan Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Carelii FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Skansen were winning 0-2.

In the 55th minute Daniel Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Salkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Fridlund in the 60th minute of play. Olov Salkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Josefsson in the 63rd minute of the match. Patrik Fridlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Örtlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Carelii FK's Björn Olsson in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Skansen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Patrik Fridlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Örtlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carelii FK's goalkeeper Olov Salkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Carelii FK's Björn Olsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Örtlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Carelii FK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Josefsson came free, but Olov Salkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Salkvist having to interfere. The BK Skansen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
