Fred Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Dahlgren having to interfere. With a little luck, Balja BK's Ingmar Stålberg got control of the ball when Viktor Larsfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Åke Rönn got free with Ingmar Stålberg in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balja BK's Ingmar Stålberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Balja BK from getting a goal against them. Ingmar Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Åke Rönn in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Askstedt in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arman Dahlgren saved Everöd from getting behind. Arman Dahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Askstedt's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Arman Dahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Askstedt in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Askstedt in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arman Dahlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sebastian Berglund made the kick off in the second half. Fred Askstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arman Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Balja BK defense, Sebastian Berglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingmar Stålberg. The Balja BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingmar Stålberg should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Everöd's Krister Valler got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Nils Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Everöd support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
