Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Balja BK's Fred Askstedt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Askstedt in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calle Wållander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calle Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Asklöv in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Askstedt in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calle Wållander saved Knivsta from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Knivsta's Albert Unesson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ingmar Stålberg. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Torgny Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ingmar Stålberg came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Knivsta's Albert Unesson. But to his dismay, Albert Unesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Björn Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Stålberg having to interfere. Ingmar Stålberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sture Hylander. 28 minutes into the match, Balja BK's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Unesson came free, but Ingmar Stålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calle Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Asklöv in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Fred Askstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balja BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Askstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Wållander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Björn Hellqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knivsta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Fred Askstedt sped through Knivsta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calle Wållander. Calle Wållander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Askstedt's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Albert Unesson made the kick off in the second half. Calle Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Larsfelt in the 51st minute of play. Calle Wållander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Askstedt went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. A hard shot 56 in the game by Fred Askstedt from a close distance when the talented Calle Wållander managed to make a qualified save. Knivsta's players were relieved. Björn Hellqvist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fred Askstedt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Calle Wållander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62nd minute Albert Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Wållander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Askstedt's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Fred Askstedt in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calle Wållander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Jerry Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Albert Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fred Askstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Askstedt in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calle Wållander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 80 played minutes Knivsta got a freekick which was hit by Björn Hellqvist. The audience was convinced that Fred Askstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Wållander was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Fred Askstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Calle Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Balja BK booed when Knivsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Åkerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark Wik hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Askstedt in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calle Wållander saved Knivsta from getting behind. Many of Balja BK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Balja BK may have spent more time on the ball, but Knivsta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
