Spectators: 7299 (Terracing: 5476, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Evert Stenquist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Umeå's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Hurtig came free, but Sverker Högman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Evert Stenquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Högman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Hurtig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fredrik Fastesson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Umeå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Fastesson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG!'s Calle Fagerberg got a free kick in the 13th minute. Evert Stenquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Umeå's goalkeeper Sverker Högman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Evert Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Stenquist in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG!'s goal looked a bit too open when Evert Stenquist came free, but Aron Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umeå's Evert Stenquist got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sverker Högman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvin Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Nordstedt to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Umeå's goalkeeper Sverker Högman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvin Hurtig. If Evert Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Stenquist struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Aron Linqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umeå. 70 minutes into the match, Umeå's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Nordstedt came free, but Sverker Högman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Umeå getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fredrik Fastesson hit a great ball. Fredrik Fastesson was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Umeå's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. The supporters of ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG! booed when Umeå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Hult didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Edvin Hurtig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Umeå's Sverker Högman got control of the ball when Edvin Hurtig tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Nordstedt in the 90th minute of play forced Umeå's goalkeeper Sverker Högman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG!'s Aron Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Fastesson in the 97th minute of play.
