Håcksvik FK's Arne Fågel got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vagnhärad IFK's David Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Björk in the 12th minute of play. Arne Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. David Hammarberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Fågel in the 17th minute of play forced Vagnhärad IFK's goalkeeper David Hammarberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Magnus Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Hammarberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

David Hammarberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Björk in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Vagnhärad IFK's goalkeeper David Hammarberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arne Fågel. In the 56th minute Bo Wallander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Arne Fågel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magnus Björk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arne Fågel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Vagnhärad IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Björk came free, but David Hammarberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vagnhärad IFK's zone, Arne Fågel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Hammarberg came out of the goal and Arne Fågel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magnus Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. David Hammarberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vagnhärad IFK's David Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Björk in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vagnhärad IFK defense, Arne Fågel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Hammarberg. The Vagnhärad IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Hammarberg should have stopped the shot. Magnus Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Fågel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Hammarberg having to make a save.
