In the 29th minute, Niklas Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Björbo BK's Verner Almqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Emanuel Palmkvist was a little too slow when Greger Alströmmer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Per Biörkman fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jonsereds IF's protests and gave Per Biörkman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jonsereds IF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Per Biörkman hit a great ball. Sven-Arne Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Bock was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Björbo BK's goalkeeper Emanuel Palmkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Björbo BK's Mikael Persson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Arne Björklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonard Bock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Palmkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Täman in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Alströmmer in the 82nd minute of play forced Björbo BK's goalkeeper Emanuel Palmkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oscar Täman came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Jonsereds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Täman couldn't finish the play. If Greger Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Oscar Täman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
