Jens-Åke Högberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Löfgren in the 4th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Högberg came out of the goal and Timmy Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Björkkvist lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Kilafors. Kent Bergström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jens-Åke Högberg. 0-1. Yngve Jespersson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Kent Bergström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BK Shankly - Nedlagt's Jens-Åke Högberg didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Bocklund in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Högberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens-Åke Högberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Löfgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jens-Åke Högberg came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilafors's Alex Bocklund. But to his dismay, Alex Bocklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alex Bocklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Åke Högberg having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Timmy Löfgren made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Åke Högberg. BK Shankly - Nedlagt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in BK Shankly - Nedlagt's zone, Timmy Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Åke Högberg came out of the goal and Timmy Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Åke Högberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Bocklund got free with Jens-Åke Högberg in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Sven-Olof Dahlbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kilafors's zone, Sven-Olof Dahlbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Tolsson came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Dahlbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Bammerman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BK Shankly - Nedlagt's zone, Alex Bocklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 66th minute, Sven-Olof Dahlbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Timmy Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilafors's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Högberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Åke Högberg made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alex Bocklund sent off a good shot on target. Freddie Norström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Högberg having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kilafors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
