Mats Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Dahlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. William Bollström kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Anonyma Alkoholisterna's Stellan Biörk pulled a muscle in his back after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edward Hökkvist's late challenge caught a Anonyma Alkoholisterna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Hökkvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Syrianska FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Edward Hökkvist hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Henrik Ros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Fribäck skillfully saved the ball. Mats Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Hökkvist in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Anonyma Alkoholisterna's goal looked a bit too open when Yngve Gummeson came free, but Mats Lövgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tage Bruhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Syrianska FC's Mats Lövgren threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yngve Gummeson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute, Syrianska FC's Yngve Gummeson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Lövgren. Mats Lövgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Yngve Gummeson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yngve Gummeson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Lövgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Harry Lövgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Syrianska FC's Mats Lövgren threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yngve Gummeson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 45 minutes into the match, Syrianska FC's Yngve Gummeson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Lövgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Dahlman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Anonyma Alkoholisterna got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Beckström. Christopher Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Fribäck having to interfere. After 74 played minutes, Syrianska FC's Martin Viklund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mats Lövgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Syrianska FC reached it. Mats Fribäck made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Christopher Dahlman sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Yngve Gummeson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Lövgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jan-Ove Malmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mats Lövgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Gummeson in the 84th minute of play forced Anonyma Alkoholisterna's goalkeeper Mats Lövgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Jan-Ove Malmström made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Anonyma Alkoholisterna's Mats Lövgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ove Malmström in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Lövgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
