Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yngve Gummeson made the kick off which started today's match. Syrianska FC's Jan-Ove Malmström got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Martin Viklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Krister Hedvall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Fribäck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Kråk to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Krister Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Kråk was shown his second yellow card after 14 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Syrianska FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Egil Kråk hit a great ball. Mats Fribäck came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Lagans AIK's Börge Felin. But to his dismay, Börge Felin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mats Fribäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börge Felin's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Krister Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Felin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Börge Felin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Syrianska FC's Mats Fribäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Syrianska FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Yngve Gummeson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jan-Ove Malmström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Malmström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Kihlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute of the match, Jan-Ove Malmström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arman Kihlman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Syrianska FC's zone, Börge Felin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Fribäck came out of the goal and Börge Felin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes, Lagans AIK's Krister Hedvall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mats Fribäck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lagans AIK reached it. Mats Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Felin in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Börge Felin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Börge Felin made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jan-Ove Malmström made a precise shot to the right of Arman Kihlman. Lagans AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börge Felin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Fribäck saved Syrianska FC from getting behind. Jan-Ove Malmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arman Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Kihlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Ove Malmström's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 66th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Hökkvist to maneuver through the defense. Börge Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Fribäck having to interfere. Martin Viklund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arman Kihlman. Lagans AIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mats Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Felin in the 85th minute of play. Krister Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Edward Hökkvist. With a little luck, Syrianska FC's Mats Fribäck got control of the ball when Krister Sundén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Kihlman having to interfere.
