If Dan Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. August Hultin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Norström in the 15th minute of the match. Villiam Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Aronsson in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Edgar Hellsing fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Villiam Runeberg was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Andréas Aronsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andréas Aronsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Universidad de Chile's goalkeeper Villiam Runeberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. August Hultin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Westerberg in the 29th minute of play. August Hultin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Andréas Aronsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Club Universidad de Chile defense, Andréas Aronsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Villiam Runeberg. The Club Universidad de Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Villiam Runeberg should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rockneby FF's Sven-Åke Fribäck got a free kick in the 39th minute. Edgar Hellsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Runeberg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Aronsson got free with Villiam Runeberg in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andréas Aronsson was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Rockneby FF's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Andréas Aronsson made the kick off in the second half. Villiam Runeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Hellsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Örtendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Runeberg having to interfere. If Edgar Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Rockneby FF's Edgar Hellsing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Villiam Runeberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dan Örtendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. When Johan Colin fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Universidad de Chile's protests and gave Johan Colin a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Hellsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villiam Runeberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Hellsing went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andréas Aronsson during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andréas Aronsson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Rockneby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andréas Aronsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Rockneby FF's goalkeeper August Hultin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Westerberg. Rockneby FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
