Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richard Albäck kicked off to start the match. The supporters of AC Party booed when Eskilstuna RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Greger Hellbom during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulf Bern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Åke Burman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Björn Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Wiktor Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Burman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Åke Burman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Albäck in the 28th minute of the match. Richard Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Burman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Björn Christoffersson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Eskilstuna RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Christoffersson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Larsson in the 36th minute of play forced Eskilstuna RK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Burman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Lars-Erik Hägg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Party and the Eskilstuna RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Sjöman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Björn Christoffersson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Björn Christoffersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Christoffersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Eskilstuna RK's Björn Christoffersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrad Sjöman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to AC Party getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gilbert Viklund hit a great ball. Konrad Sjöman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Christoffersson in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the AC Party defense, Björn Christoffersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konrad Sjöman. The AC Party fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konrad Sjöman should have stopped the shot. Jan-Åke Burman was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Richard Albäck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Albäck really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Bern in the 77th minute of play forced AC Party's goalkeeper Konrad Sjöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Party's Konrad Sjöman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Bern in the 78th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Eskilstuna RK got a freekick which was hit by Henry Eklund. Wiktor Larssons short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Jan-Åke Burman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute, Stig-Ove Örnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
