Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leif Kleen made the kick off which started today's match. Christer Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Erik Gummeson scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Runberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Arvidsson got free with Paul Runberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Runberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Erik Gummeson's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Henning Stor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Nils-Erik Gummeson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Runberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Paul Runberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Erik Gummeson in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Runberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Kleen in the 40th minute of play forced Boden's goalkeeper Henrik Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Insjön IK's Henning Stor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrik Hedvall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrik Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils-Erik Gummeson made a kick off. Leif Kleen charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leif Kleen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Boden booed when Insjön IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Kleen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nils-Erik Gummeson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boden's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Erik Gummeson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Runberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christer Arvidsson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Runberg. Paul Runberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Paul Runberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Gummeson in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Christer Arvidsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Runberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Oscar Tillman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paul Runberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Insjön IK's zone, Christer Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Runberg came out of the goal and Christer Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Rune Böcklund hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Paul Runberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Gummeson in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Christer Arvidsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Insjön IK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Gummeson came free, but Paul Runberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Stor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Henrik Hedvall made a huge save. Leif Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Hedvall having to interfere. Boden walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
