Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dick Forsberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, IFK Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Forsberg came free, but Krister Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patric Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Johansson having to interfere. Kurt Alström struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Krister Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vråen. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Stolpskott's zone, Kurt Alström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Berglund came out of the goal and Kurt Alström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Krister Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Alström in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dick Forsberg in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krister Berglund saved IFK Stolpskott from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, IFK Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Forsberg came free, but Krister Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Patric Utter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Dick Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Krister Berglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When FC Vråen's Johan Holm in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patric Utter was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Mellin in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Vråen's goalkeeper Alf Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of FC Vråen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Stolpskott:s goal. The referee gave IFK Stolpskott a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Einar Grep, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Vråen's Alf Johansson. 2-1. Eric Mellin struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alf Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Stolpskott. After a rather tough play, FC Vråen's Benjamin Andreasson got a free kick in the 70th minute. 80 minutes into the match, IFK Stolpskott's goalkeeper Krister Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Alström. Holger Gustavsson charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of FC Vråen booed when IFK Stolpskott was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Rosin didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK Stolpskott's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
