Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lennart Johnsson made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Mölltorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Johnsson came free, but Claes Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sebastian Skytt fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norsborg's protests and gave Sebastian Skytt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mölltorp IK booed when Norsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greger Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Karl-Magnus Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Norsborg's Edvin Ek got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Norsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Hökkvist came free, but Karl-Magnus Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Olsmann hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jonatan Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Karl-Magnus Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Vassenius in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greger Hökkvist in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Magnus Snell saved Norsborg from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Christian Algren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mölltorp IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norsborg the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mölltorp IK's Christian Algren got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tomas Vassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claes Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Vassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Greger Hökkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Claes Falk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Olsmann's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Claes Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Vassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Jonatan Runberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jonatan Runberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Vassenius got free with Claes Falk in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Lennart Johnsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claes Falk. The goal made the score 0-1. If Greger Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Greger Hökkvist sped through Norsborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Snell. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Norsborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobias Bengtsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Mölltorp IK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mölltorp IK's Tobias Bengtsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Magnus Snell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Lennart Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Johnsson in the 81st minute of play forced Mölltorp IK's goalkeeper Claes Falk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Claes Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Runberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Jonatan Runberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mölltorp IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Runberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Magnus Snell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Hökkvist in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mölltorp IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Norsborg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
