Mölltorp IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Runberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Johanneshov got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Hellsing. In the 21stth minute of the game Orvar Lind who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Claes Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ove Hellsing was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jens-Ove Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Axel Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Carlsson in the 45th minute of play forced Mölltorp IK's goalkeeper Claes Falk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Greger Hökkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simon Beck. The goal made the score 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Greger Hökkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simon Beck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greger Hökkvist went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Algot Nordgren during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronny Blom charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The tension between the Mölltorp IK and the Johanneshov players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Runberg kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match.
