Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Martin Lind didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calle Hökqvist went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Calle Hökqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Lind having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Calle Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älmhults IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Hökqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Felix Sigman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Söderberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calle Hökqvist in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Lind saved Rydboholm from getting behind. In the 29th minute Gilbert Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Rydboholm got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Vibjörnsson. Älmhults IF's Karl-Erik Wennerqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Rydboholm's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Hökqvist came free, but Martin Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Sigman scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Lind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Åke Holmstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Skytt in the 42nd minute. If Calle Hökqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Rolandsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Holmstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Vennerberg's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Hökqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Calle Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älmhults IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Hökqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Lind was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Magne Hellqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Calle Hökqvists short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Martin Lind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 59 minutes, Calle Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älmhults IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Hökqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Erik Vallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Calle Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älmhults IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Hökqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Martin Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Rydboholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Vibjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Rolandsson struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Martin Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älmhults IF. Calle Hökqvist had several of the Rydboholm's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Martin Lind as he didn't even see the shot coming. Magne Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Lind having to interfere. Lennart Skytt took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Åke Holmstedt. Jan-Åke Holmstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The long shot by Hampus Bagge in the 90th minute really tested Martin Lind's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Calle Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Vennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Holmstedt having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Älmhults IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rydboholm.
