If Richard Ahlroht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Beckström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kenny Qvarnström. Armada United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 played minutes Armada United got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Wållander. Långaryd BF were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Armada United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy Beckström took the corner. After taking down the ball on Långaryd BF's corner Jimmy Beckström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenny Qvarnström quite easily take care of the ball. Per Sikström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenny Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Per Sikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Armada United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nils Gudmundsson hit a great ball. Richard Ahlroht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Qvarnström having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Elliott Lundkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Richard Ahlroht had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Qvarnström. Armada United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Ahlroht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Lundkvist in the 44th minute of play forced Armada United's goalkeeper Kenny Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villiam Aleberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Per Sikström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kenny Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Armada United's Nils Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Kenny Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Ahlroht in the 57th minute of play. Birger Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Birger Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Per Sikström could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Kenny Qvarnström however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armada United's goalkeeper Kenny Qvarnström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Lundkvist in the 68th minute of play forced Armada United's goalkeeper Kenny Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Armada United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nils Gudmundsson hit a great ball. Birger Grep came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Armada United's Birger Pettersson. But to his dismay, Birger Pettersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elliott Lundkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Pettersson in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birger Grep prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Birger Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Villiam Aleberg made a precise shot to the right of Birger Grep. Långaryd BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Långaryd BF's Per Sikström got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armada United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimmy Beckström was slow to take the kick. During this time Långaryd BF's players had a chance to rest. Per Sikström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Kenny Qvarnström made a huge save.
