Filip Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Sigman in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Jävrebyn's Stig-Åke Back seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stig-Åke Back the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jävrebyn protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stig-Åke Back had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Stig-Åke Back kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Filip Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Anselius, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Vilhelm Bergström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östersunds Förenade FK's Brian Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östersunds Förenade FK's goalkeeper Brian Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Östersunds Förenade FK's zone, Ingvar Asserlind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Lundgren came out of the goal and Ingvar Asserlind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fritz Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Ahlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Joakim Fransson struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Brian Lundgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jävrebyn. Östersunds Förenade FK's Brian Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Bergström in the 86th minute of play. Brian Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Vilhelm Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jävrebyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Bergström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Jävrebyn getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. William Bergfeldt hit a great ball. Filip Elg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olof Göransson. Östersunds Förenade FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
