The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jan-Åke Fogel came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the K3lbilo Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Fogel couldn't finish the play. Gösta Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Figeholm's Gösta Fransson got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Henry Ahlstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jakob Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Frisck having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Bengt Helberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Frisck. Bengt Helberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. K3lbilo Football Club's Bengt Helberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Ahlstedt in the 22nd minute of play forced Figeholm's goalkeeper David Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Henry Ahlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the K3lbilo Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Ahlstedt couldn't finish the play. Bengt Helberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Figeholm's Edwin Bremming got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ingvar Lidman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jakob Lindström didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 34th minute. K3lbilo Football Club's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Bengt Helberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Figeholm's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bengt Helberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Henry Ahlstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Frisck. That made the score 4-0 in the 48 minute of play.

In the 79th minute Bengt Helberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jakob Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, K3lbilo Football Club's Bengt Helberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Frisck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Figeholm defense, Bengt Helberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Frisck. The Figeholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Frisck should have stopped the shot. K3lbilo Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
