Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Jan Carlsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jens-Ove Wennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Jävrebyn's Filip Elg got control of the ball when Birger Bäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Bäck in the 31st minute. In the 48th minute Vilhelm Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Jävrebyn were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Bergström made a kick off. If Ingvar Asserlind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vilhelm Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Lindholm having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Vilhelm Bergström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ödåkra's Karl-Magnus Lindholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rune Stenquist kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Asserlind during the 73rd minute. Ödåkra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jävrebyn the free kick. The supporters of Jävrebyn booed when Ödåkra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Stigsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jävrebyn's Vilhelm Bergström managed to work through Ödåkra's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Vilhelm Bergström dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Stig-Åke Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
