Orvar Dalströms short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Stig Lindström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute Ove Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Erserman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byalagets Bollklubb's Alex Erserman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Hök in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orvar Dalström got free with Stig Lindström in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Hjalmar Gunnarsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hjalmar Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Lindström having to interfere. A collision led to Ekebäck FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Markus Askelöf hit a great ball. Stig Lindström was a little too slow when Hjalmar Gunnarsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 44th minute, Ove Hök made a precise shot to the right of Alex Erserman. Byalagets Bollklubb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Hök was the one to do the kick off. Ove Hök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alex Erserman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Ekebäck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Gunnarsson came free, but Stig Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Orvar Dalström came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Byalagets Bollklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orvar Dalström couldn't finish the play. Urban Skröder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alex Erserman made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Dalström in the 79th minute of play forced Ekebäck FC's goalkeeper Stig Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekebäck FC's Stig Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Gunnarsson in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Alvin Burman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Byalagets Bollklubb had played much better football throughout.
