Spectators: 7178 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Richard Carlberg started the match with the kick off. Byalagets Bollklubb's Alex Erserman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Byalagets Bollklubb from getting a goal against them. When Inge Adelsköld came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Södertälje FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Adelsköld couldn't finish the play. Orvar Dalström might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Lindqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orvar Dalström ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the game, Inge Adelsköld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alex Erserman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Byalagets Bollklubb's Alex Erserman got control of the ball when Richard Carlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Hjalmar Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byalagets Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hjalmar Gunnarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Billy Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Gunnarsson in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Bror Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Erserman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Byalagets Bollklubb got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Kristiansson. After having played for 21 minutes, Richard Carlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södertälje FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Carlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Södertälje FK booed when Byalagets Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingmar Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Erserman having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Södertälje FK's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Dalström came free, but Billy Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Kristiansson during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Byalagets Bollklubb! Alex Erserman made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Richard Carlberg sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 40 in the game by Inge Adelsköld from a close distance when the talented Alex Erserman managed to make a qualified save. Byalagets Bollklubb's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Gunnarsson in the 41st minute of play forced Södertälje FK's goalkeeper Billy Lindqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Södertälje FK got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Wallin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Carlberg in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Erserman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Carlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Byalagets Bollklubb's Alex Erserman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Carlberg in the 59th minute of play. When Södertälje FK's Richard Carlberg in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Byalagets Bollklubb's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Inge Adelsköld notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Byalagets Bollklubb's Alex Erserman. Alex Erserman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Södertälje FK's Billy Lindqvist got control of the ball when Orvar Dalström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Erserman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Wallin in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Byalagets Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Carlberg came free, but Alex Erserman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Erserman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingmar Wallin's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Billy Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Gunnarsson in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Orvar Dalström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magnus Tönnberg during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Södertälje FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Magnus Tönnberg hit a great ball. Ingmar Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Erserman having to interfere. Södertälje FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
