A wasted opportunity for Myggenäs IFK. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Ålberg in the 4th minute of the match. Ove Alströmmer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Max Tholsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Partille booed when Myggenäs IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Tomasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Partille's goalkeeper Max Tholsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Alströmmer. Conny Mattsson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Partille's Tom Ålberg. But to his dismay, Tom Ålberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Tom Ålberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Ålberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 35th minute, Nicklas Lindkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Ålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Alströmmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ove Alströmmer made the kick off in the second half. Nicklas Lindkvist scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Mattsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Partille's Tom Ålberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conny Mattsson. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Wallmark got free with Conny Mattsson in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Wallmark came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Nicklas Lindkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conny Mattsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Wallmark got free with Conny Mattsson in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes, Karl-Michael Wallmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Partille and the Myggenäs IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conny Mattsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The audience was convinced that Ove Alströmmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Tholsson was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 97th minute Tom Ålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Partille's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
