Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eddie Öfverman kicked off to start the match. Stig-Ove Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lars Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Öfverman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Lars Hermansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BKBB. Lars Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Öfverman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Stig-Ove Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Säve's Tim Klementsson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Kellman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Fredriksson in the 30th minute. The supporters of Säve booed when BKBB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eddie Öfverman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Stig-Ove Holm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Fredriksson got free with Isaac Kellman in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in BKBB's zone, Tomas Fredriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Kellman came out of the goal and Tomas Fredriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Klementsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tim Klementsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Kellman was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. BKBB's Isaac Kellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Klementsson in the 58th minute of play. Stig-Ove Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Osvald Klint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stig-Ove Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stig-Ove Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Tim Klementsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säve fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Tomas Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Hubert Johansson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lars Hermansson, passed just outside the right post. Jonas Törnkvist hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. BKBB's Eddie Öfverman got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Eddie Öfverman took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lars Hermansson to make any attempt to save it. After 95 minutes of play BKBB's Hubert Johansson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes BKBB got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Johansson. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
