With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inge Lundblad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivar Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Wallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Västerlanda's Herman Drake got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Karlstedt in the 41st minute of play forced Västerlanda's goalkeeper Ivar Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Hellqvist's late challenge caught a Västerlanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Hellqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Skorped RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Hellqvist to maneuver through the defense. The Västerlanda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skorped RK were winning 0-1.
