No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kristoffer Wallander made the kick off in the second half. Ove Alströmmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ivar Linquist made a huge save. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Gustavsson in the 58th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Bivall came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Westerberg in the 98th minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
