Jan-Erik Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Nordin in the 20th minute of play. Karl-Ove Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Hellström having to interfere. Mats Malmström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Ove Bank was the one to do the kick off. Eskil Strandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Ove Bank in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62ndth minute of the game Karl-Ove Bank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Löberöd IK's Jan-Erik Hellström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Ove Bank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jan-Erik Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Överlida RK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Nordin. Löberöd IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After taking down the ball on Löberöd IK's corner Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and William Hamberg quite easily take care of the ball. Mats Malmström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 97th playminute.
