Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Löfgren in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Björck in the 43rd minute of play forced Löberöd IK's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galactico's Lars Vik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Hedvall in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Hedvall to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute Anders Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Vik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Vik having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
