When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Max Alebäck sped through IFK Norrköping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erling Petersson. 25 minutes into the game, Helge Danielsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Norrköping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trensum FF the free kick. In the 25th match minute, IFK Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Max Alebäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trensum FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Alebäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Petersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Kent Hultstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Alberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Österberg having to interfere. Max Alebäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Erling Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kent Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Hultstrand took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erling Petersson. Erling Petersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Max Alebäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erling Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Hultstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, IFK Norrköping's Erling Petersson got control of the ball when Max Alebäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Trensum FF's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Alberg came free, but Oliver Österberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Max Alebäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trensum FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Alebäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kent Hultstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Petersson having to interfere. Trensum FF played a much better game than IFK Norrköping and deserved their victory. The IFK Norrköping players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
