Klas Brogren made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when John Magnusson sent off a good shot on target. Klas Brogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Holm in the 21st minute of the match. John Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hans Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Klas Brogren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Holm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Samuel Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Säve getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aleksander Pilgren hit a great ball. Christopher Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Walmarsson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Holm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Säve's Klas Brogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Holm in the 53rd minute of play. John Magnusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Säve's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Holm came free, but Klas Brogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Samuel Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Jimmie Bk's protests and gave Samuel Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Säve booed when Team Jimmie Bk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Jimmie Bk's Patrick Holm got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When John Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Team Jimmie Bk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Magnusson couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Patrick Holm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klas Brogren was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. If John Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
