The Små Gröna Män fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Små Gröna Män's Benjamin Biörling looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bengt Klementsson came out of the goal and Benjamin Biörling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt Klementsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Biörling in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Munkfors BF's goalkeeper Bengt Klementsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Billvall. After a rather tough play, Munkfors BF's Sakarias Åkerberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Munkfors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Gregersson came free, but Bengt Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Munkfors BF booed when Små Gröna Män was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Levander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Pihlgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arman Dahlberg. Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bengt Klementsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Gregersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Dusett to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Munkfors BF's zone, Harald Gregersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Klementsson came out of the goal and Harald Gregersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5-0 became the score in the 64th minute when Benjamin Biörling elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Folke Dusett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munkfors BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Dusett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Dahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Munkfors BF's Kurt Levander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arman Dahlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Jan Skark kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Joakim Gernberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt Klementsson skillfully saved the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Små Gröna Män's Alf Billvall made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Klementsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Munkfors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Hermansson came free, but Bengt Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Biörling in the 84th minute of play forced Munkfors BF's goalkeeper Bengt Klementsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald Gregersson in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Klementsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Små Gröna Män's Harald Gregersson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Munkfors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Biörling came free, but Bengt Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Munkfors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Biörling came free, but Bengt Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
