Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harald Pettersson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aaron Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Reine Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sparsör's Hugo Finman got a free kick in the 4th minute. Arman Örn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Damm having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sparsör's Josef Gustafsson got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Sparsör's goalkeeper Reine Damm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Willig. Calle Säfström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Barck in the 14th minute of play. If Arman Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Barck might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calle Säfström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Barck ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the game, John Bolander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göteborg Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparsör the free kick. After a rather tough play, Göteborg Tigers's John Bolander got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Harald Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sparsör fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Pettersson couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes, Magnus Kullgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göteborg Tigers and the Sparsör players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Magnus Kullgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arman Örn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
In the 54th minute, Daniel Willig made a precise shot to the right of Reine Damm. Sparsör's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Pettersson in the 57th minute of play forced Göteborg Tigers's goalkeeper Calle Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Magnus Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Pettersson in the 63rd minute of play forced Göteborg Tigers's goalkeeper Calle Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Göteborg Tigers's zone, Harald Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calle Säfström came out of the goal and Harald Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Barck got free with Calle Säfström in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Daniel Willig came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Göteborg Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Willig couldn't finish the play. Sparsör's Alexander Barck got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calle Säfström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Finman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Göteborg Tigers's Calle Säfström got control of the ball when Alexander Barck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Göteborg Tigers's goalkeeper Calle Säfström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Willig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Kullgren got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alexander Barck struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Calle Säfström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparsör. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Göteborg Tigers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sparsör had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
