In the 9th minute Gunnar Bure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Pååk struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Kalle Linqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Madridista. Joakim Olofsson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes, Ljungbyholm IF's Jonathan Jakobsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper John Ryberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ljungbyholm IF reached it. Frank Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. John Ryberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, FC Madridista's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Drewitz came free, but John Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Ryberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Drewitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakob Björk got free with John Ryberg in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jim Pååk scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kalle Linqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jim Pååk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Bure's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalle Linqvist was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the game, FC Madridista's Gunnar Bure nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Ryberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Kråk, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jakob Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. John Ryberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ljungbyholm IF's Kalle Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Bure in the 79th minute of play. Kalle Linqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Pååk in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute, Jakob Björk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ljungbyholm IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Kalle Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Bure in the 90th minute of play. Gunnar Bure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Linqvist having to interfere.
