The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Brolin during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jonsered booed when Grimstorp BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Vestberg made a kick off. Dag Dalman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Vestberg in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Tony Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonsered's Olov Vestberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimstorp BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jonsered the free kick.
