In the 4thth minute of the game Arne Hamberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lingon Imperiets IF's Nils Wallmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Väderstad got a corner. Lingon Imperiets IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leif Ahlgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 7th minute, Åke Carlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lingon Imperiets IF booed when Väderstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Wallmark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Carlberg's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The supporters of Väderstad booed when Lingon Imperiets IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Wallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arne Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lingon Imperiets IF's Elliot Lundin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Wallmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Lund in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Lingon Imperiets IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Folke Elg hit a great ball. Nils Wallmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Hamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Folke Elg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Malte Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Väderstad's attack was well implemented in the 40th minute, but when Malte Lund was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 41 played minutes Lingon Imperiets IF got a freekick which was hit by Tony Sandell. Lingon Imperiets IF's Nils Wallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Hamberg in the 43rd minute of play. Nils Wallmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lingon Imperiets IF's zone, Malte Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Wallmark came out of the goal and Malte Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Elg made a kick off. Arne Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Wallmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Lund in the 56th minute of play. Arne Hamberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Wallmark having to interfere. Malte Lund struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nils Wallmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väderstad. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Gustavsson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Väderstad booed when Lingon Imperiets IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Wallmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Lund in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Lingon Imperiets IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. When Malte Lund came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Väderstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Lund couldn't finish the play. If Arne Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malte Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nils Wallmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Malte Lund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Wallmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Malte Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Wallmark having to interfere. With a little luck, Lingon Imperiets IF's Nils Wallmark got control of the ball when Arne Hamberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils Wallmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Arne Hamberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Nils Wallmark made a huge save. Väderstad played a much better game than Lingon Imperiets IF and deserved their victory. The Lingon Imperiets IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
