Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Peter Asplund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jim Hamnberg, 1-0. When Kjell Gallberg fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Virserum BF's protests and gave Kjell Gallberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Smögen booed when Virserum BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Gallberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Markusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jim Hamnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Asplund in the 10th minute of play forced Smögen's goalkeeper Jim Hamnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmie Markusson got free with Jim Hamnberg in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jim Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Asplund in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Kjell Gallberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Jimmie Markusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Hamnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jim Hamnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmie Markusson in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Smögen's goalkeeper Jim Hamnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmie Markusson. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Peter Asplund took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jim Hamnberg to make any attempt to save it. Jim Hamnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Asplund in the 36th minute of the match. Jim Hamnberg was a little too slow when Peter Asplund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. With a little luck, Smögen's Jim Hamnberg got control of the ball when Jimmie Markusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Asplund struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jim Hamnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virserum BF. With a little luck, Smögen's Jim Hamnberg got control of the ball when Jimmie Markusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Virserum BF's Peter Asplund in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smögen's goalie prevented a goal. Jimmie Markusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hamnberg having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Asplund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Hamnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Asplund in the 54th minute of the match. Smögen's Jim Hamnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Asplund in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Håkansson during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Jonny Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Peter Asplund came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Virserum BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Asplund couldn't finish the play. Jim Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Gallberg in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Jimmie Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virserum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Markusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Hamnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Markusson in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Jimmie Markusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Virserum BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Jim Hamnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Asplund's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Peter Asplund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hamnberg having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Peter Asplund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smögen's Jim Hamnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Virserum BF's Frans Lindman got a free kick in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmie Markusson in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Hamnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 95 minutes, Jimmie Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virserum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Markusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virserum BF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
