The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Ove Käcker came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Munka Stars United's Jan Forsberg. But to his dismay, Jan Forsberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jan-Ove Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Forsberg in the 9th minute of the match. Jan Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Kellbom in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Munka Stars United's goalkeeper Harry Axelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Elias Magnusson fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munka Stars United's protests and gave Elias Magnusson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nyhammar booed when Munka Stars United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Kellbom got free with Harry Axelsson in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th match minute, Nyhammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes, Munka Stars United's Matthias Smitt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Ove Käcker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Munka Stars United reached it. Harry Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Kellbom in the 28th minute. Anders Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience cheered when Axel Vennerkvist's long shot passed Harry Axelsson's right side. It was 1-1, 42 minutes into the match. Jan-Ove Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Svanberg in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Forsberg made a kick off. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Richard Kellbom sped through Munka Stars United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harry Axelsson. Munka Stars United's Harry Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Kellbom in the 64th minute of play. Alvar Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Harry Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Munka Stars United got a freekick which was hit by Elias Magnusson. In the 79th minute, Alvar Bock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nyhammar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. If Alvar Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Svanberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Harry Axelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvar Bock went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
