In the 13th match minute, Munka Stars United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Melin to maneuver through the defense. Max Alströmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Forsberg in the 18th minute of play. Anders Svanberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Alströmer having to interfere. Munka Stars United's Harry Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Björk in the 23rd minute of play. The Jämjö IK fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Jämjö IK's Anton Björk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kjell-Arne Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Harry Axelsson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Magne Hedvall sent off a good shot on target. Magne Hedvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Anton Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Björk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harry Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magne Hedvall couldn't finish the play. Anton Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Harry Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Roy Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Jämjö IK's Anton Björk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Axelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Jan Forsberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Max Alströmer, passed just outside the right post. Max Alströmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Munka Stars United booed when Jämjö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Frisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anders Svanberg in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Alströmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Magne Hedvall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jämjö IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Magne Hedvall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Nordlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harry Axelsson. Munka Stars United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jämjö IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
