Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Albom to make the kick off. Filip Albom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Olov Rudberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Ståfräs's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmie Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Rudberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Gösta Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the FC Ståfräs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
