When Jens Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Lotorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Hermansson couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Kennet Haström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vrångö FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lotorp the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vrångö FK's Kennet Haström got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Lotorp getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jim Paulin hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Jens Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Edmund Åkerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Thidén showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Frans Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Valler in the 35th minute of play. Torsten Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Vrångö FK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Odén. In the 42nd minute Lotorp were awarded a corner. Edmund Åkerman went to the cornerflag to take it. Lotorp's Edmund Åkerman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Georg Thidén in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 44 minutes of play, Lotorp's Torsten Holm made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Thidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Högman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Lotorp got a corner. Vrångö FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmund Åkerman ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edmund Åkerman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Georg Thidén quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Högman in the 57th minute of play forced Vrångö FK's goalkeeper Georg Thidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Thidén made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Torsten Holm sent off a good shot on target. Conny Arhenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Niklas Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Thidén having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Torsten Holm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Georg Thidén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Christer Högman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lotorp walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
