Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Olof Bergkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Valler's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Frans Valler came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Vrångö FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Valler couldn't finish the play. Patrik Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Georg Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vrångö FK defense, August Brandt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georg Thidén. The Vrångö FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georg Thidén should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Vrångö FK's Frans Valler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olof Bergkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ransta's zone, Conny Arhenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Bergkvist came out of the goal and Conny Arhenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Conny Arhenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Thidén made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when August Brandt sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, August Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ransta's supporters rose to their feet, but August Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Thidén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Ransta's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Valler came free, but Olof Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If August Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frans Valler made a kick off. In the 57th minute Patrik Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Thidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Kennet Haström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrångö FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Haström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Torbjörn Odén fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vrångö FK's protests and gave Torbjörn Odén a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vrångö FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Torbjörn Odén hit a great ball. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Patrik Johnsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Vrångö FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Valler to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Magnus Njurenius hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Frans Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vrångö FK's Conny Arhenius got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olof Bergkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Valler in the 97th minute of play. Ransta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
