Vrångö FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virestad the free kick. Conny Arhenius in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulf Göransson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Vrångö FK booed when Virestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frans Valler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Georg Thidén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Forssberg in the 56th minute of the match. Georg Thidén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malte Forssberg's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. A collision led to Virestad getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Viggo Magnusson hit a great ball. If Frans Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Virestad's Malte Forssberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Georg Thidén. That made the score 2-4 after 90 minutes of play. After 92 played minutes Virestad got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Back. Conny Arhenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ulf Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Malte Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virestad's supporters rose to their feet, but Malte Forssberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Thidén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Virestad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
